At home in all musical genres Karen ’s freelance work has included Grace Jones, Ute Lemper, Willard White, Martin Taylor, Tim Garland, Mike Westbrook, The Nash Ensemble, Ice Breaker Opera North, BBC Philharmonic, the RPO, LSO, WNO, Royal Opera House, Ballet Rambert and the Strictly Come Dancing live band.
She has produced four CDs of her own compositions and arrangements and she is well known worldwide for her compositions for saxophone.
As a saxophone player she was a member of the all female saxophone quartet 'The Fairer Sax' who appeared on television and radio and at festivals all over the world.
KAREN STREET
ACCORDION
Andy studied clarinet and saxophone at Birmingham Conservatoire. He played with and ran Saxtet for nearly twenty years performing their repertoire of self composed and arranged material all over the world.
His range of musical interests is very wide but his musical life now revolves mostly around jazz. He performs regularly with the Piccadilly Dance Orchestra, various Mike Westbrook projects and with Karen Street both as a duo and in her drumless quartet Streetworks. He also performs regularly with Flotilla, a saxophone consort performing and commissioning new compositions.
He teaches at Birmingham Conservatoire and Wells Cathedral School. He has given masterclasses and workshops at Royal College of Music, Trinity Laban, Leeds College of Music and Chetham’s School of Music.

Bassist and composer Dave Manington is one of the mainstays of the London jazz scene and a founder member of the Loop Collective, he has played with many of the pre-eminent jazz musicians in the UK and Europe including Julian Arguelles, Marius Neset, and Gwilym Simcock, amongst many others. He's in demand for a broad range of different ensembles, playing with musicians from everywhere from South America to the Balkans and has also accumulated extensive studio experience recording albums and sessions as a sideman for jazz, pop and singer-songwriters. He was nominated for an Ivor Novello Award for Jazz Composition in 2021.

As a pianist and music director, Yshani has performed at venues ranging from Wigmore Hall to the London Palladium, at events from Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival to the Barbican Mime Festival, and with artists from City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra to Nina Conti.
She has premiered works including by Charlotte Bray, Gavin Higgins, Hannah Kendall and Benjamin Oliver. As a composer herself, commissions include works for the London Sinfonietta, Onyx Brass the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and music for a play about Fanny Mendelssohn.
Yshani was music director for triple-Oliver winner Emilia, Olivier-nominated Goat for Rambert Dance Company, for Ruination at the Royal Opera House Linbury, for Circa at the Barbican, and for Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. She is currently music director for The F**gots and Their Friends Between Revolutions by Philip Venables & Ted Huffman and conductor of Opéra national de Paris’ Street Scene for their emerging artists.
Yshani was winner of the 10th Yamaha Accompanist of the Year Award. She is a regular improvising pianist with The Comedy Store Players and guest broadcaster at BBC Radio 3.

Expressive Buenos Aires-born vocalist and guitarist Guillermo Rozenthuler has become one of the leading voices of Argentine Tango and South American song in the UK. Since his arrival in the UK in 2000 he’s been performing as a soloist and with bands across Great Britain in a variety of Tango and Latin American music ensembles.
As a tango singer, Guillermo has recorded and performs regularly with the London Tango Orchestra, based in the UK, and Germany-based Sexteto Cristal. His albums with the LTO are: Primeros Pasos (2014) and Abrazo Abierto (2021), and with Sexteto Cristal: Viento del Norte (2018) and Loca de Amor (2019). He’s currently collaborating as a guest vocalist with Cuarteto Rotterdam.
Guillermo has also recorded with Tango Siempre (Malandras del Tango) and toured the UK for two years with Midnight Tango, alongside Vincent and Flavia of Strictly Come Dancing. He’s worked extensively in the UK and Dutch Milonga scene with other ensembles such as Tango Clasico Trio, Pinta Brava and Los Mareados.

ABOUT CARISMÁTICO
Richard Manuel has taught, choreographed and performed tango for 24 years in 12 countries and more than 140 cities around the world for workshops, festivals & shows. He joined the West End show “Midnight Tango” directed by Karen Bruce in 2011, performing in a staggering 344 shows from 2012-2013 alongside Vincent & Flavia and Strictly Come Dancing on BBC 1 in 2012.
Richard has appeared on many other shows including “Romance d’Carnaval” (UK Tour) directed by Myriam Ojeda, “Ferverosa” (UK tour) directed by Wendy Hesketh and “Tangomotion” (UK tours) with the band Tango Siempre.
He was also part of the creative team, choreographer & performer of the show “Tango! Tango!”, directed by Justin Pearson, about Astor Piazzolla’s life (2008-2012 UK tour).
In 2018, Richard choreographed and performed in three promotional videos : for the Santiago Quartet, The 5th Element and The Great Masked Ball.

Tamsyn Webb began ballet when she was just 3 years old. She transitioned through different styles including Irish dance, Salsa and Kizomba, settling on Argentine Tango in 2015.
Since 2019 Tamsyn has been teaching, choreographing and performing Argentine Tango with Richard in shows around the UK, including “Tangomotion” (2021) and with the band Carismático for the Canterbury Arts Festival (2022). She co-choreographed and performed in promotional videos “Isolation Tango” for Carismático and “The Chairman’s Waltz” in 2020.
